The 2010 Lehigh Valley Green Building Expo is an annual two-day weekend event presented by the Lehigh Valley Green Builders - this year in association with Northampton Community College (click for directions).

With rising energy costs, an ailing economy, an increased environmental awareness, and the expiration of electricity rate caps in January 2010, the Expo offers an invigorating opportunity to educate, inform, and inspire homeowners and professionals about effective ways to enrich not only the environment, but also their homes and lives.

A primary focus of the Expo will be how to save money by reducing energy and water consumption and how to make smarter, greener and healthier home design and lifestyle choices. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak will local green building and energy-efficiency experts as well as enjoy informative talks and workshops on a wide array of green topics such as energy efficiency upgrades, solar and geothermal installations; and green new construction, renovation and home improvements.
